Tuesday, 29 November: 1) Take your Headway (SB + WB) to class!!

 2) Describing pictures: First of all you study specific vocabulary and "rules" for describing pictures (cf links on the G3 web site).

Then you google a subject that you imagine well presented in pictures , e. g. Advertising, office (http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRxM2VMagoT9XgKTlgcVN9jojTNF_bgbKVMyYCmYuSAA9XtsusI ------ http://tv-junky.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/office1.jpg), childcare (http://www.barcelona-life.com/media/pics/childcare.jpg ------- http://poohbearchildcare.com/uploads//b4edd0fcd0e3d301070ff452d260b785cd592016.jpg), divorce (http://www.clivir.com/public_html/images/uploads/images/idaho3.jpg ------ http://www.county-records.ws/images/divorce_records.gif)

Once you found the pictures you want to describe, you save them in the educanet2 web space - in the folder "Pictures". Re-name the pictures making them begin with your first name, e.g. Markus childcare1.

So you'll describe the pictures, speak about the general topic that can be observed and then you'll compare them. Finally you can  speak about the theme etc. =====> refer to the recommendations on the G3 web site.

Thursday, 24 November: You prepare the discussion part of your oral exam: In the Forum on educanet2 you choose ONE question about the theme indicated below. Look at the vocabulary that is available there and be ready to discuss the question with your partner for about 10 minutes. So you'll need a clear point of view, plenty of ideas to launch a new aspect of the question ... and of course the specific vocabulary related to the theme.
